Dr. Coray Colina
Professor Colina obtained her Ph.D. at the North Carolina State University (2004) and her B.S. (1993) and M.Sc. (1994) at Simón Bolívar University. She was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was previously a faculty member at Simón Bolívar University and The Pennsylvania State University.
She joined the Chemistry Department at the University of Florida in 2015 under the Preeminence Initiative. Recently, she won the 2020-2021 Fulbright Scholar Award, the 2019 American Chemistry Society Cooperative Research Award in Applied Polymer Science, and serves as (2020-2022) an Elected Board Director, Materials Research Society among others.

Dr. Colina has several national and international collaborations and has presented the results of her research globally in more than 250 national and international conferences. She has published over 120 papers (including conference proceedings).
